12.  Really Interesting—What Do You Think?

Everyone has a gift or talent that is inherent and is probably our life's purpose.  Some people know what it is from their earliest memories.  Some of us take longer to discover it.

I recently became acquainted with a spiritual medium named Rob Gutro.  Rob is a scientist by vocation, but his gift is the ability to communicate with animals and people who have died.  In particular, the animals are usually pets who want to deliver a message to their former caregivers—mostly as a way of letting them know they are okay in their new life.  Animals don't have any concept of death, they just move into the new dimension.  They do know they are no longer with their human caregivers; but their previous animal companions and animal-loving humans are there, waiting for them, so they are never alone or afraid.  They are happy and healthy again and ready to explore "heaven."

I definitely believe there is another "life" after earth life. I agree with Rob, that we transition "to a different state of energy."  I also believe there are different levels of energy, just like there are 40W light bulbs and 100W light bulbs--depending on your level of enlightenment.  What you learn on earth goes with you, but if you didn't learn anything, you will have to start at the beginning.  You will be given a "guide" to help you decide whether you can learn at your current energy level or if you need to return to earth to learn more.  In my opinion, that is why some people die young.  After they have learned their life's lesson(s), there is no reason to linger.  My personal belief is that earth life is the lowest level.

I agree with Rob, that the afterlife has nothing to do with religion.  Religion was created by man.  Jesus never said anything about building a church, performing a bunch of nonsensical rituals, or, by the way, we are going to need money, so leave 10% of your income by the door.  Jesus was a prophet.  Because his thinking was so radical from what people believed at the time, he was worshiped by the crowds that followed him, to hear him speak.  Religious fanatics are nothing more than "groupies."  Beliefs have become skewed over the years.  Christianity was originally a way to promote "good," but eventually, as the church grew, it became apparent that more control was needed; so they turned "good" into "God" and thus invented an enforcer to instill fear.

Religion is based on fear since most people are afraid NOT to believe in it.  It is the same thing that parents do to control children.  They tell them that Santa Claus is watching everything that they do.  "He knows when you are sleeping.  He knows when you're awake.  He knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake."

Rob has written several books about the afterlife.  His most recent book is Pets and the Afterlife 2 and is available on Amazon and on his blog Ghosts and Spirits Insights  You'll learn some of the "signs" that pets send to us so we will know they are thinking about us.
